Welcome

St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School is set in Grangetown, near to the Cardiff Bay development, and a short distance from the M4.  Voted in September 2014 as the best place to live in the UK, Cardiff scored the highest for house prices, rental costs, salaries and life satisfaction.  Paired with mountain ranges, green valleys and a ragged coastline, ancient castles and a bustling capital city, Cardiff offers something for everyone.

The school is known for its very welcoming ethos and caring community. Our open door policy and parent engagement programme help ensure that we work together to always do the best for our children and enable them to achieve their full potential.  With 300 pupils on roll aged between 4 – 11 years, and including an 11 class structure, we offer excellent quality of experiences, care and support for all our pupils and parents. We are a school that strives to ‘be the best we can be’ and are fortunate to have such a committed workforce and governing body that work together for the common good.

We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.
